Waikato Hui 2015

Generation Zero in Waikato are exploring new frontiers!

Join us over a weekend of learning, strategising and planning to understand how we can work with our community to move the Waikato towards a low carbon future.

We'll be feeding and accommodating you at the Marae, all for a small Koha if you can afford, of $20-$40.

Join us for two full and inspiring days where we'll be learning core campaigning skills from long-time members of Generation Zero's core team, and we'll be understanding how to apply these learnings to real-world contexts to help shape Waikato into a liveable, low carbon region.

We're arriving on Friday at 6pm to settle in, get to know each other and have some Kai. On Saturday, we'll be learning about Theories of Change, Leadership, and communicating for effective change. On our last day together, we'll think about how we can apply these principles to campaigning in Hamilton and beyond to create effective change around urban issues, fossil fuel consumption and renewable energy.

Please RSVP here. We're asking for a Koha in the range of $20-$40 to help cover our costs for the weekend.
